ASPG Graphology Course Overview

Patricia Siegel and Lois Vaisman provide a program in handwriting analysis that is oriented to both beginners and experienced students. Their approach is holistic, emphasizing the gestalt while evaluating individual graphic traits relative to handwriting as a whole. The three basic lenses of handwriting - movement, form and space - are taught to guide the focus of the analyses, while the Graphological Psychogram is taught to sharpen that focus and add an objective methodology. A variety of approaches, including typologies, are introduced to help broaden understanding of the personalities behind the handwritings. Students learn to integrate graphic observations through participation in class and developing weekly handwriting analyses. The students' experience is amplified by numerous and varied handwriting examples. Satisfactory completion of four semesters of classes earns a certification by The American Society of Professional Graphologists.
